(note: be cautious of your speed on Layhill Road as they often put speed traps on it between Georgia Avenue and Bel Pre
and there is a speed camera on Bel Pre Road near Connecticut Avenue)

 

From I-495, the Washington Beltway

• take the Beltway to Montgomery County
• take exit 31 north onto Georgia Avenue, Rt. 97
• after about 3 miles, turn right onto Layhill Road, Rt. 182 (landmarks: Staples, water tower)
• at the third light, turn right onto Middlevale Lane
• take the third right onto Crystal Lane
• the gallery is the first house on the left, 1804 Crystal Lane

  From the District on Georgia Avenue or 16th Street

• take 16th Street, NW north until it ends,
• turn left onto Georgia Avenue, Rt. 97
• continue on Georgia Avenue, underneath and past I-495, the Beltway
• after about 3 miles, turn right onto Layhill Road Rt. 182 (landmarks: Staples, water tower)
• at the third light, turn right onto Middlevale Lane
• take the third right onto Crystal Lane
• the gallery is the first house on the left, 1804 Crystal Lane

From Connecticut Avenue, NW DC, or Chevy Chase:

• take Connecticut Avenue, Rt. 185, north past I-495, Kensington and University Boulevard [watch for the spot in the town of Kensington, north of the Beltway, where you must bear left at a light to stay on Connecticut Avenue, rather than continuing straight onto University Boulevard]
• cross Veirs Mill Road then at the next light turn right onto Randolph Road
• go 1.3 miles and turn left onto Georgia Avenue, Rt. 97 (fire station, traffic light)
• take the first right onto Layhill Road, Rt. 182
• at the third light, turn right onto Middlevale Lane
• take the third right onto Crystal Lane
• the gallery is the first house on the left, 1804 Crystal Lane

From Randolph Road and Rockville Pike, Rt. 355

• take Randolph Road east, continue past Connecticut Avenue, Rt. 185 by 1.3 miles
• turn left onto Georgia Avenue, Rt. 97 (fire station, traffic light)
• take the first right onto Layhill Road, Rt. 182
• at the third light, turn right onto Middlevale Lane
• take the third right onto Crystal Lane
• the gallery is the first house on the left, 1804 Crystal Lane

From Gaithersburg or Rockville:

• take I-270 or Rt. 355 south
• turn left (east) onto Montrose/Randolph Road
• take Randolph Road east, continue past Connecticut Avenue, Rt. 185 by 1.3 miles
• turn left onto Georgia Avenue, Rt. 97 (fire station, traffic light)
• take the first right onto Layhill Road, Rt. 182 at the third light,
• turn right onto Middlevale Lane
• take the third right onto Crystal Lane
• the gallery is the first house on the left, 1804 Crystal Lane

 From Rockville:

• take Norbeck Road, Rt. 28 east across Rockville Pike, Rt. 355
• before Georgia Avenue, turn right onto Bel Pre Road cross Georgia Avenue and Connecticut Avenue, continue on until passing Del Mercado Shopping Center
• turn right at the traffic light onto Layhill Road, Rt. 182
• turn left at the first light onto Middlevale Lane
• take the third right onto Crystal Lane
• the gallery is the first house on the left, 1804 Crystal Lane

From Columbia or Baltimore:

• take Rt. 29 (Colesville Road) or I-95 south
• take Rt. 198 (Olney-Sandy Spring Road / Spencerville Road) west (right) until Layhill Road
• turn left at the light onto Layhill Road, Rt. 182
• cross Bel Pre Road
• turn left at the first light onto Middlevale Lane
• take the third right onto Crystal Lane
• the gallery is the first house on the left, 1804 Crystal Lane

 From New Hampshire Avenue and Randolph Road:

• take Randolph Road west
• turn right onto Georgia Avenue, Rt. 97
• take the first right onto Layhill Road, Rt. 182
• at the third light, turn right onto Middlevale Lane
